One morning, I was handed a tile from the bar at Mexicano and asked to incorporate it into the menu design. What began as a simple branding update to reflect the restaurant’s interior evolved into a full menu reformat. The redesign focused on improving readability and visual flow, creating a layout that naturally guides the eye. The updated menu is viewed by hundreds of guests each day.
The Shot Cart is a marketing initiative developed by my team and I. When designing the menu, I drew inspiration from the bright colors of the shots and incorporated them into Mexicano’s classic black and gold aesthetic.
